Thays Rodrigues Cardoso joined the UIndy tennis staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach in 2018-19.
Before joining the Hounds, Thays competed as a student-athlete at Tennessee Wesleyan University from 2014-16. During her senior year, Thays received the honor of Champions of Character from AAC and the TWU's athletic department. In 2017, Thays helped the TWU women's tennis team as a volunteer assistant coach.
After graduating, Thays joined the Hanover College tennis staff as the men's and women's assistant coach. At Hanover, she was able to assist the women's tennis team to win HCAC conference tournament and compete in the NCAA Division III tournament.
As a collegiate student-athlete, Thays studied Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She graduated with a Marketing Student Award and cum laud from Tennessee Wesleyan University. She was a member and Vice President of the International Club where she got to lead and mentor a lot of international students.
A native from Curitiba, Brazil, Thays is pursuing her MBA in Finance at UIndy.
