A native of Orlando, Fla., Ben Souza enters his seventh year at UIndy in 2025-26 and first as Assistant A.D. for Business Operations. Souza, who spent the 2024-25 academic year as the athletics administrative assistant, was promoted in the summer of 2025.
Souza was a four-year student-athlete on the UIndy swimming & diving team earned a bachelor's degree in Sports Management. He spent his fifth year as a graduate assistant for the Athletics Department while earning a Master of Science in Management before becoming a full-time employee in October of 2024.
As the Administrative Assistant for Athletics, Souza supports the Department’s day-to-day operations, helping with everything from coordinating meetings to handling requests and planning activities. His role keeps things running smoothly for our teams and staff, contributing to all aspects of the Athletics Department.
