UIndy Athletics

Emily Papandria joined the UIndy Sports Medicine team in August 2025 as Assistant Athletic Trainer. Her primary sport assignments include women’s volleyball and swimming & diving. 

Prior to UIndy, Papandria was a Minor League Athletic Trainer Intern for the Chicago Cubs. She was assigned to their High-A Affiliate Team, the South Bend Cubs, where she worked the 2025 season. Papandria is a graduate of Indiana University where she earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training. Prior to IU, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Southern Indiana while also being a member of the women’s track and field team during both the DI and DII eras.

While at IU, she worked with the football, baseball and wrestling programs, as well as Edgewood High School and The School of Public Health Clinic – Ballet & ROTC. Emily has also worked as a clinical intern with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill football team.

Papandria currently resides back home in Indianapolis.
