The 2025 season will be the first for Josh Foreman on the staff at UIndy. The Kickapoo, IL native will join the Greyhounds as a Volunteer Assistant after spending the past 7 seasons at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL.

Foreman served as an assistant at Sandburg during the 2017-18 season that saw the Chargers win their first Arrowhead Conference Championship since 2008. Foreman took over the reigns as Head Coach from 2018-2024 and led Sandburg to two more Arrowhead Conference Championships (2019, 2022) which earned him Conference Coach of the Year honors in those seasons. While at Sandburg, Foreman coached 30 Arrowhead All-Conference honorees, 3 Arrowhead MVPs, 11 NJCAA Region IV All-Region selections, and 3 NJCAA Region IV Gold Glove recipients. Foreman’s teams posted 124 wins and were consistently one of the top offensive teams in NJCAA Region IV.

Before Sandburg, Foreman spent time coaching at Brimfield (IL) and Princeville (IL) high schools, while running the KVL KHawks Travel Baseball Organization in Central Illinois.

As a player, Foreman was a member of the Waubonsee Community College baseball team in 2002-03, where he garnered All-Region IV honors as well as All-Skyway Conference honors in his two years as a Chief. He went on to play his final two years at Murray State University in 2004-05 where he was named to the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for his efforts on the field and in the classroom.

Foreman received his Associate’s Degree from Waubonsee CC, and in December of 2024 graduated cum laude, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Murray State University.
