Katie Christman joined the UIndy Athletics Department as Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance in January 2024.
In her role, Christman is the department's liaison on financial aid, compliance, and conduct matters, while ensuring all units comply with University, conference and NCAA regulations. She also provides direction and guidance to the Faculty Athletic Board on all NCAA and conference requirements.
Christman’s background includes positions as Assistant Athletic Director at Butler University and Assistant Academics Coordinator at Ball State University; and Admissions Representative at Indiana Tech.
Katie earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in Coach Education and Athlete Development, both from Xavier University. Christman also played four years as a starter on the Musketeer Volleyball team while representing the team as captain on the student-athlete advisory board.
Christman, a native of Indy’s Southside, now resides in Carmel, Ind., and has three children.
