Assistant Coach Brook Kohlheim is enters her first season as a full-time member of the Greyhound coaching staff in 2010-11. Prior to this year, Kohlheim spent one season as a graduate assistant at UIndy. During her first year with the Greyhounds, the team posted a 26-4 record, and made its third-straight NCAA appearance.
Before coming to UIndy, she served two seasons as the girls basketball head coach at Bishop Verot Catholic High School in Fort Myers, Fla., while also teaching U.S. History. Before that, she worked at Fort Myers High School as an assistant coach for girls basketball and taught Reading and Health.
Kohlheim, a 2001 graduate of Bishop Verot High School, played collegiate basketball at Florida Southern College where she was a four-year starter under Coach Diane Foli. There, she was named to the Sunshine State Conference All-Freshman Team in 2002 and led the Mocs to their last SSC Tournament title and NCAA appearance in 2003. She finished as FSC's all-time leader in free throw percentage and 3-pointers made (now second in the latter).
Kohlheim graduated in from FSC in 2005 with a B.A. in History and studied abroad in Costa Rica. The Fort Myers native is currently working towards a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at UIndy.
