INDIANAPOLIS- Junior Sergey Struck scored a career-high 24 points to lead the host Greyhounds to a 67-61 win at Nicoson Hall.  Struck registered his first double-double in a UIndy uniform, grabbing 10 rebounds in the win.

UIndy (3-6) went to Struck in the low block in the early going, as the 6-foot-7 forward made his first four shots.  Late in the period, Donald Cloutier manned the post and scored six straight UIndy points as the Hounds tried to pull away from the Bearcats.  Brescia's Andrew Howard had the hot hand for the visitors, connecting from deep three times in the span of a couple minutes, part of his 15 first-half points.

The Hounds' final possession of the half featured a block by Dijon Knight that led to a reverse lay-in on a fastbreak the other way for Tyke Cockerham.  Not to be outdone, Howard beat the buzzer underneath with a put-back as the horn sounded to tie the score at 37-apiece at the break.

Struck scored six straight Greyhound points midway through the second stanza, giving UIndy its largest lead of the night at 61-50.  Keith Radcliff's three with just under four to play to all but put the game away.

Struck finished the night 9-of-10 from the floor and 6-for-8 from the free throw line.  Five of his 10 rebounds were on the offensive glass and he added three blocks to his career night.

Cockerham added 11 points and five assists to the win while Radcliff contributed nine points, eight rebounds and three steals.

The Greyhounds head to University Center, Mich. to battle Saginaw Valley State Monday at 7:00 p.m.

Notes: UIndy is 5-0 all-time against Brescia, including wins in each of the last three seasons ... Radcliff had just one three-pointer on the night, breaking his streak of consecutive games with at least two three-pointers at eight ... He has scored from deep in all nine games this season ... The Greyhounds had a season-high eight blocks on the night, most since a Dec. 7, 2006 win vs. Kentucky Wesleyan (8).
