Out of the stoppage, UIndy (4-6) went on a 10-0 run of its own, with Rogers scoring on back-to-back possessions. He started with a long triple then followed with another three-point play, this time on a bucket underneath as he was fouled, adding the free throw to reclaim the lead for Indianapolis.

With the score retied at 63 apiece, UIndy retook the lead when
Tyke Cockerham drove the lane, made the basket and was fouled, converting the free throw for a three-point Greyhound margin with just over seven minutes left. The Hounds remained in control until 1:10 appeared on the clock when SVSU's Greg Foster hit a layup to give the home team a 75-74 lead as the lead changed hands seven times in the second half alone.
Keith Radcliff closed the game out in the win column for UIndy, however, making a layup then hitting 3-of-4 free throws in the final minute to give the Hounds their second win in a row, 79-75.
