INDIANAPOLIS- The University of Indianapolis men's basketball team shot nearly 56 percent from the floor and won its third straight game with a 71-38 rout of Temple Baptist Tuesday night at Nicoson Hall. Senior Tristan Rogers led the way statistically with 14 points and six rebounds for the victorious Greyhounds before the game was abbreviated with 13-plus minutes to go due to TBC not having the required number of players.

Leading by as much as 38 points, UIndy (5-6) was cruising in the second half before an altercation led to the bizarre stoppage. With 13:42 left in the game, two of the visiting Rams were ejected for fighting while two more were tossed for leaving the bench. Now down four men from an already small seven-man roster, TBC (0-7) had the option of proceeding with three players, but opted not to continue.

Three minutes in, Temple Baptist held a brief 8-5 lead that disappeared after Rogers responded with a three-ball. The Rams would not lead again as the Greyhounds parlayed the triple into a 26-5 run to ultimately put the game out of reach for the undermanned TBC squad.

Rogers' point total matched the game high as TBC's Jeshua Bryant also scored 14. Donald Cloutier and Keith Radcliff joined them in double-digits with 10 points each.

UIndy begins a tough stretch of conference foes with a pair of ranked opponents this weekend. The Hounds travel to Owensboro, Ky. to face 11th-ranked Kentucky Wesleyan Friday evening before heading across the Ohio River for a Sunday afternoon meeting with 18th-ranked Southern Indiana.
