INDIANAPOLIS- Visiting Bellarmine remained unbeaten on the early season, charting an 86-71 win at Nicoson Hall in Great Lakes Valley Conference play Saturday night.  The Knights hit over 60 percent of their shots and had 10 three-pointers en route to improving to 5-0 overall.

The Knights opened an 11-point lead in the opening half, grabbing a 27-16 advantage at the midway point.  That margin would grow to 16 as Justin Benedetti made a steal and coverted it for a breakaway layup and a 35-19 score with 5:20 left.

Donald Cloutier's long triple at the end of the half helped trim the margin to a dozen at the break.  Bellarmine's start was supplemented by a strong shooting performance in the first twenty minutes as the Knights buried 17-of-27 from the floor (.630), including 4-of-5 from distance.

Cloutier hit again from long range in the early minutes of the second half to bring the margin under double digits at 45-36.  Nine straight Bellarmine points followed, however, as the visitors stretched the lead to 24.  The undefeated Knights didn't let the advantage fall below 18 until a furious Greyhound rally in the final three minutes helped the margin slip back to 12.  The final points in the 13-0 run came on a triple by Tristan Rogers, part of his team-high 17 points on the night.

Four Greyhounds were in double figures scoring, with 12 from Keith Radcliff, 11 from Sergey Struck, who made his first start in a Greyhound uniform, and 10 more from Cloutier.  The Hounds were able to the free throw line 21 more times than BU, but converted on just 16-of-28 from the stripe.

UIndy (1-5, 0-2 GLVC) will play its next two games in Phillippi, W. Va. as the Hounds battle Salem International Saturday and play host Alderson-Broaddus Sunday.
