SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-  The Greyhound men's basketball team suffered a season-high 22 turnovers in an 88-80 Great Lakes Valley Conference loss at Drury Thursday night.  Senior Keith Radcliff responded to a rough opening half that saw him score just two points, tallying 23 in the second half alone as UIndy's furious rally ran out of time.

The teams traded turnovers early in what would become the story of the first half.  A Greyhound steal led to the first points of the game when Tristan Rogers threw down a two-handed dunk on the break.

With the help of a 9-2 run following the first media timeout, UIndy took a slim one-point lead at 15-14.  Plagued by turnovers, however, the Greyhounds saw the lead evaporate and by the seven-minute mark, found themselves down by a dozen.

Drury led by a 38-24 count at the break, shooting 53.3 percent from the floor in the first twenty minutes and benefitted from 16 Greyhound miscues.

The Panthers would shoot 71.4 percent from the floor in the second stanza, but the Hounds managed to keep it within striking range.  DU led by as many as 20, holding a seemingly comfortable 65-45 advantage with 7:27 to play.

Radcliff's torrid run began with four minutes to play, hitting a layup to put the score at 71-55.  Tyke Cockerham followed with a three, then Radcliff connected again from deep and the lead suddenly was just 10 with 2:19 to play.

After DU scored a pair of free throws, Braxton Mills hit a layup and then Radcliff hit from deep again after a Devin Williams steal for a miraculous 75-68 scoreboard with 1:31 left.  The triple capped a run that saw UIndy score 13 points in less than two-and-a-half minutes.

But, the home team fended off the challenge, going to leading scorer Chris Ijames, who collected 25 points and nine rebounds overall.  Radcliff continued his red-hot streak in the closing minute, making all five of his free throw attempts and adding another layup to give him 15 points in the final four minutes alone.

Radcliff's 25-point effort marked the third straight game in which the senior has reached the 20-point plateau.  He has scored in double figures in seven consecutive contests and 14 of 16 games this season.  Cockerham set a new season high with his 17 points, but his stat line was marred with a career-most 10 turnovers.

UIndy remains out west to battle Missouri Science and Technology Saturday afternoon in Rolla, Mo.  Tip time is slated for 4:00 p.m. Eastern.
