OWENSBORO, Ky.-  The Greyhound men's basketball team had its three-game winning streak snapped at the hands of No. 11-ranked host Kentucky Wesleyan at the Owensboro SportsCenter in Great Lakes Valley Conference play Friday night.  The host Panthers led throughout, but had to fend off a pesky Hounds squad that trimmed the second-half deficit to just a bucket before eventually posting the win.

KWC (9-1, 2-1 GLVC) took the early lead and grew it to 19-10 with just over 13 minutes remaining in the half.  UIndy (5-7, 0-3) held the host without a bucket for the next three-and-half minutes, but could not convert on its chances to slice into the lead as the Panthers held a 32-25 halftime advantage.

The margin continued to hover around that mark until the same stretch in the second half when UIndy went on 10-3 run to whittle the lead all the way down to 44-42 midway through the period.

Tristan Rogers led the Greyhounds in scoring with 14 while Keith Radcliff added 13 and Tyke Cockerham added 11.  Braxton Mills tallied a dozen rebounds to lead all players.

The Greyhounds head to #18 Southern Indiana Sunday afternoon to complete the roadtrip.  Game time is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. Eastern time.  KWC scored 17 of the next 23 points to take control of the game and go on to the win, its ninth of the season.
