INDIANAPOLIS-  NCAA Division II-leading scorer LaVontay Fenderson scored a game-high 38 points to lift visiting Wisconsin-Parkside to a 92-83 Great Lakes Valley Conference win at Nicoson Hall Saturday.  Fenderson got to the free-throw line 17 times in the contest, including 13 in the second half alone.

The Greyhounds (9-18, 4-14 GLVC) roared out of the gate, hitting on their first five shots from the floor to take a quick 12-3 advantage.  Keith Radcliff had a pair of triples in the run, part of his career-best six three-point buckets.  UWP (7-20, 3-15) responded by later rattling-off a 15-3 run to give the Rangers a 26-20 lead.

The Rangers would up the margin to as many as 12 in the first half until Larry Woods scored six points in the final three minutes to help the Hounds close to within seven at the break, 47-40.

Parkside was in the bonus early in the second stanza as the Hounds recorded their seventh team foul with over 11 minutes remaining.  UWP had 25 free throw attempts in the second half to maintain the lead for the bulk of the period.

Momentum began to shift when a Radcliff jumped sparked a 7-0 run for UIndy to get the score at 73-72 in favor of the visitors with 7:18 left.  Radcliff hit a long three a few minutes later to retie the score-- for the first time since the first half-- at 79-all.

Fenderson went to the line on each of the next three trips down the floor for UWP, pushing the Rangers back in front by five.  Parkside connected on its final 10 charity stripe tosses to grab the win.

Radcliff finished the night with 27 points, his second-highest output in a Greyhound uniform.  Donald Cloutier had his first double-double at UIndy, scoring 10 points and grabbing a career-best 10 rebounds.  Woods had 18 points on the night.

Notes:  All five UIndy seniors were honored before the start of the game: Cloutier, Tyke Cockerham, Braxton Mills, Radcliff and Tristan Rogers.
