RENSSELAER, Ind.-
The Greyhound men's basketball team gave up a halftime lead and fell 78-66 at St. Joseph's Thursday night. The loss drops UIndy to an even 10-10 on the season, 4-7 in GLVC play.

UIndy held control of the game for most of the first half, leading by nine with just more than three minutes left in the first period. The Pumas clawed their way back into the game, though, rattling off six unanswered points to get within three with 42 seconds until the break. A free throw from Darius Adams put the Greyhounds up 36-32 at the intermission.

After the half, the Pumas went on a 10-5 run to take a 43-40 lead. SJC would lead by as many as seven, before an 8-1 run by the Greyhounds tied the game at 55-55 with just more than six minutes to play. A dunk from Nate Blank was the catalyst for the run.

UIndy would take the 59-57 lead on a jumper from Blank with about four and half on the clock, but a 9-0 run by the Pumas in the last two minutes of the game locked up the 76-68 win.

Blank led all scorers with 23 on the night. DeWann Squires added 14 for the Greyhounds, and Sergey Struck posted 11 points and led the squad with six rebounds. Andrew Helmer led the Pumas with 22 points and 11 boards.

UIndy continues its northern trek, heading to Wisconsin-Parkside for a Saturday contest. The Greyhounds and the Rangers tip at 4 p.m.
