On Tap:  The UIndy men's basketball team plays two games in three days against NAIA opponents Wilberforce and Brescia on Saturday and Monday at Nicoson Hall to conclude a four-game homestand.

About Wilberforce:
The Bulldogs are a NAIA Division II team based in Wilberforce, Ohio, that plays in the American Mideast Conference. They are led by 6-3 guard Chris Olafioye with 25.3 points per game, while 6-3 forward Darius Foster adds 14.0 points per game.

About Brescia:  The Bearcats are a NAIA Division II team based in Owensboro, Ky., that plays in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Brescia is led by 6-1 senior guard Aaron Tandy with 18.6 points and 5.9 assists per game. No other player averages more than 7.7 points per game for BU.

Series History:  The Greyhounds will be playing Wilberforce for the first time, while trying to stay unbeaten, 5-0, against Brescia. This marks the first meeting against the Bearcats since Dec. 17, 2008 (W, 67-61) at Nicoson Hall in head coach Stan Gouard's first season.

Last game:  The Hounds fought back from a 17-point second-half deficit to tie the game, but couldn't get past Urbana, 88-77, at Nicoson Hall last Saturday. Adrian Moss led UIndy with 18 points, four assists and two rebounds, while DeWann Squires and Darius Adams each added 12 points. Freshmen Cody Sarrazin and Jarrett Hamilton each came off the bench to contribute 10 points. Hamilton led the Hounds with seven rebounds.

Adams' Family:  Darius Adams received national recognition by garnering 2010-11 Preseason All-American Honorable Mention from both The Sporting News and the Division II Bulletin.  This season, Adams leads UIndy with 18.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.5 assists per game.

Give it Back:  UIndy is forcing 20 turnovers per game, including 8.5 steals per contest, to open the season. That has led to an average of 25.5 points off turnovers per game.

Free Points:  The Greyhounds have been walking a rut to the free throw line with an average of 33 free throw attempts per game (46-66) in the first two games of the season. Moss is 14-of-16 (.875) and Adams is 10-of-12 (.833) to lead UIndy.

Clear the Glass:  After playing against much taller competition in the exhibitions, UIndy has taken advantage of its height advantage to open the regular season. The Hounds out-rebounded IU Northwest, 41-23, and Urbana, 36-34. The Hounds are piling up 16 offensive rebounds per game, which has led to 21.0 second-chance points per game.

Spreading the Wealth:  The Greyhounds had four players with double-figure scoring averages last year and have started this season with six players averaging in double figures (Blank-27.0, Adams-18.0, Moss-14.0, Squires-12.0, Vest-10.0, Sarrazin-10.0) and seven players have scored 10 or more points per game.

Worth the Wait:  Freshman center Cody Sarrazin missed preseason practice, all three exhibitions and the first regular season game rehabbing his left knee after surgery during UIndy's fall break (Oct. 18). He finally made his debut against Urbana and contributed 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 FT) in 17 minutes.

Perfect Start:  Freshman forward Cody Vest made all five field goal attempts, including his only three-pointer, to record 12 points, four rebounds and two blocks against IU Northwest in his first college game.

Hounds on TV:  Produced by HomeTown Television, the following four games will be televised via tape-delay and will air on HomeTown Sports Indiana (Comcast and Brighthouse): Jan. 27 vs. Wis.-Parkside, Feb. 10 vs. Southern Indiana, Feb. 12 vs. Kentucky Wesleyan & Feb. 17 vs. Northern Kentucky.
