On tap:  With two games remaining in the regular season, the Greyhounds are battling for the No. 3 seed in the Great Lakes Valley Conference's East Division.  UIndy will welcome Bellarmine to Nicoson Hall on Monday night for the final home game of the season before the trek to Northern Kentucky, which will determine the league tournament's seedings.

About BU:
Bellarmine is 17-7 overall and 10-5 in league play.  The Knights are ranked ninth in the latest NCAA Midwest Regional Rankings, released Feb. 10.  BU has won four straight and eight of its last nine and is still in the hunt to host GLVC tournament first round and quarterfinal games in the opening weekend of the conference tournament.  The Knights share a 10-5 league mark with West No. 2 Rockhurst and are a game up on the current No. 2 in the North, Saint Joseph's.  The team with the best conference record among those No. 2 seeds will host the other No. 2s.

Series record with the Knights:  BU owns a slight edge in the all-time series, winning 42 of the 82 meetings.  The Knights were 78-67 winners over Indianapolis back on Jan. 14 in Louisville, Ky.  Junior Nate Blank had game-highs with 23 points and 10 rebounds in the loss for UIndy.

UIndy Head Coach Stan Gouard: Stan Gouard is in his second season and carries a 21-31 record as the Greyhound front man. He previously spent three years as an assistant coach at Indiana State following his three-year stint as an assistant at UIndy. While at Indianapolis, Gouard was part of the staff that helped the Hounds to a 47-31 record, advancing to the NCAA tournament all three seasons.

Looking Ahead:  The regular season will come to a close on Saturday at Northern Kentucky University.  The matchup will decide which team will be the No. 3 seed in the East Division and which will be No. 4.  The teams head into this week with identical 6-10 conference records and UIndy holding the tiebreaker at this point, thanks to a 55-54 win over the Norse back on Dec. 3.

Last Time Out:
UIndy held its own in the second half against the nation's second-ranked team in Southern Indiana, but could not overcome the hot shooting Screaming Eagles, falling 91-74 on Saturday afternoon.  USI led by as many as 29 in the second half, but the Hounds managed to rally to slice the lead to a dozen on several occasions.  Darius Adams led all scorers with 25 points.

Scoreboard watching:  NKU will likely be watching to see what transpires at Nicoson Hall Monday night as it battles with UIndy for the three-spot in the GLVC East division race.  The Norse are off on Monday and the tables will be turned Thursday when second-ranked Southern Indiana visits NKU while UIndy is off.

Indy 500:  Darius Adams needs just 24 points to etch 500 in a stellar 2009-10 season.  The junior transfer would become the first Greyhound to reach the 500 mark in a year since DeAndre Brock scored 522 in his senior season (2007-08).

Stealing the Show:  Adams has 48 steals on the season, just three shy of cracking the season top 10 list at UIndy.  With two games left in the regular season and the postseason still to come, Adams has a shot to position himself in the top 5.  Here's a look at the program's top 10 single-season steal marks:

Season Steals
87     Tyrone Barksdale 1996-97
82    Chris Martin       1999-00
73     Tom Downard  1984-85
69     Rob Kent           2000-01
65     Ron Rutland     1988-89
57     Ron Rutland     1990-91
56     David Logan     2004-05
55     David Logan     2003-04
52    Dave Ancelet     1978-79
51     Ryan Hixson     2003-04

Points and Boards:  Adams is leading the team in both points (19.0) and rebounds per game (6.2).  If he maintains that mark, he'll become the first Greyhound to lead the squad in both categories since Cedric Moodie turned the trick back in 2001-02.

Hounds on TV: The Greyhounds are again scheduled to be on television this season with expanded coverage being provided on the UIndy Television Network. Produced by HomeTown Television, the final regular season home game will be televised via tape-delay and will air on HomeTown Sports Indiana (Comcast and Brighthouse).
