Greyhounds can't get on track in loss to NKU

GREENWOOD, Ind. -
The University of Indianapolis men's tennis team couldn't get going in falling to No. 36 Northern Kentucky, 9-0, in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match at Center Grove High School on Saturday morning.

The Norse (11-4, 3-1 GLVC) took control early against the Greyhounds (11-7, 2-2 GLVC) by winning all three doubles matches. The closest competition of the match took place at No. 3 doubles where Guillaume Berman and Drew Schroeder hung on to knock off UIndy's Caleb Fellers and Pete Wilson, 8-6.

Singles was all straight set wins for Northern Kentucky in the final home match of the season for the Crimson and Grey. UIndy was shut out in four of the 12 sets with the closest score coming in the second set at No. 4 singles (6-3).

The Greyhounds conclude the regular season next Sunday in Evansville against in-state rival and nationally-ranked No. 32 Southern Indiana at 3 p.m. ET.
