INDIANAPOLIS- The UIndy men's tennis team (1-1) took a 7-2 loss to cross-town rival Butler University Friday evening at the UIndy Tennis Center.
The two Greyhound wins came in singles competition, as number two junior
Tony Kostadinov beat the Bulldogs' junior Brandon Woods in two sets, 6-2 and 7-5.
Fellow junior
Luke Hubert faced off against Butler (3-4) senior Sam O'Neill in the number three spot, and came out on top with scores of 6-3, 5-7, and 10-7.

Taking losses in singles play were freshmen
Christoph Drechsler and
Andrea Morlet. Morlet took a loss to senior Pulok Bhattacharya, 6-2 and 6-1, while Butler senior Austin Woldmoe overtook Dreschler in three sets, 2-6, 6-0, and 4-6.
Sophomore
Marco Razo and junior
Fausto Cordova also took losses in singles play. Razo faced off against Butler senior Billy Weldon and fell in three sets. Butler sophomore Alex Woldmoe took a victory in the number five spot as he defeated Cordova in two sets with two scores of 6-2.

In doubles competition, Kostadinov and Drechsler took a 9-7 loss as they faced off in the number one spot against Woods and Bhattacharya. In the number two match was Morlet and Razo facing O'Neill and Weldon as UIndy lost 9-3. Butler's Woldmoe brothers snatched a 9-8 victory over Hubert and Cordova.

The Greyhounds are next in action Tuesday Feb. 17 at 4:00 p.m. at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind.
