COACHES' CORNER
Head coach John Higgins: "It was nice to see our guys get a result we were looking for in what was a really physical contest. It felt more like a fight than a soccer game at times and our guys handled that and battled hard. It was a big test for us and an important game for us and to go get the result we wanted is huge. It's the sign of a good team to be able to win like we did today."
Â
"I was really happy with our discipline. We were in shape and our work rate was fantastic today and I felt we had more legs than they did. Our guys showed tremendous desire to win today too and you always need to have a game or two like that where you win ugly and it carries you forward."
Â
"Defensively, I thought we were outstanding today and it showed because Miles really didn't have to make any tough stops. They goal they scored was one of those that was struck in the perfect place. But it came after we went up with about 15 minutes to go and I was really proud of our guys to respond and get the eventual winner with less than a minute to go."
