MIDLAND, Mich. – The UIndy women's basketball team fell in their final game of this weekend road trip this afternoon, losing to the Northwood Timberwolves of the GLIAC. The Hounds fall to 0-4 on the season, and have four more games on the road before returning back home on December 2 to face GLVC foe Southern Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Things got off to a rocky start in the first quarter. The Hounds had five turnovers early on, but the Timberwolves struggled to capitalize on UIndy's mistakes, shooting five-for-13 from the field. The Hounds kept it competitive early, shooting five-for-15 from the field, only facing a 17-10 deficit going into the second quarter.

Despite shooting only 38 percent in the first quarter, Northwood was not shy about shooting the ball coming into the second. The Timberwolves hit a pair of early 3's along with a layup to jump out to an early 25-14 lead in the 2nd. The Hounds were outscored 21-6 in the second and headed into the locker room down 38-16.

The halftime break did not slow things down for the Timberwolves as they continued to put up points on the Greyhound defense. The Hounds trailed 61-31 going into the final quarter. The Hounds did not quit in the final quarter despite being behind on the scoreboard. UIndy fought until the very end, outscoring Northwood 26-16 in the fourth, before falling 77-57.
