INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy men's lacrosse team (0-2) lost a heartbreaker at Key Stadium Saturday afternoon, falling 9-8 to visiting Rollins College. Justin Diamond's goal three minutes into overtime marked the last of fifth unanswered tallies by the Tars (3-1), completing the comeback win and handing the Greyhounds their second one-goal loss in as many games.
After scoring the final two goals in the first half, the young Hounds ripped off three quick scores in the opening three minutes of the second half to take a sizable 7-2 lead that lasted late into the third. New Westminster, British Columbia-native
Parker Johnson scored two of those goals in one 50-second span.

But midway through the fourth, Rollins came charging back with a 5-0 rally, capped by Diamond's game-high fourth goal coming in the sudden-death OT period.

Rollins entered the season ranked No. 20 in the USILA/Nike Division II Preseason Coaches Poll, but fell out after enduring its only loss to date to No. 14 Lenoir Rhyne last week.

Three Hounds had three points on the day, including Johnson who led the way with three goals.
Luke Allen amassed two scores and an assist,
Matthew Johnson had three helpers, and
Parker Kump scored twice.

Junior Dominic Guarion did a tremendous job on face offs for the Hounds, going 18 for 21 in the stat, including winning each of the first 13. Sophomore goalie
Jarod Kimble finished with 11 saves, while sophomore defender
Adam Dobis had five ground balls and a caused turnover.

The Hounds hit the road for the season's first away game when they travel to St. Louis March 4 to take on first-year-program Maryville University at 1 p.m. ET.
