The men's tennis team earned its fifth victory the season, this time over William Jewell College. The Greyhounds defeated the Cardinals 9-0.
Renato Lima who was paired up with Dario Huber for the day. The Two defeated Bjorn Myers and Cutter Sanders 8-5, which was the closest match of the day. Doubles duo Magnus Mueller and Christoph Drechsler, along with Matej Kostadinov and Nils Hoffacker, cleanly took the match against their William Jewell opponents, winning 8-0.
In singles competition, Lima and Andy Morlet claimed 6-1, 6-0 victories over their Cardinal opponents. While Mueller and Matteo Videau went for a sweep and took the 6-0, 6-0 win. Huber and Kostadinov also collected victories, 6-2, 6-3 and 6-0, 6-1, respectively.
The Greyhounds next match will be against Eastern Kentucky tomorrow, February 17 at 2 p.m. as the Greyhounds make the trip to Richmond, Ky.
