The Greyhounds defeated #25 Ferris State in the Saturday match-up at the UIndy Tennis Center. UIndy got their third sweep in a row over the Bulldogs.

Dario Huber and Renato Lima paired up for the first time this season to compete against Steward Sell and Our Adim Ramdani Iswan. The Greyhound pair overcame the Bulldogs 9-7. Magnus Mueller and Christoph Drechsler match against Daniel  Bennet and Austin DeBruyne was the first to finish on the day, with the Hounds taking an 8-2 win.  In the number three slot for the Hounds was Matej Kostadinov and Nils Hoffacker who claimed the 8-4 win over their opponents. 

In singles play, Huber was the first win for UIndy with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Bennett. In the number one slot for the Hounds was Hoffacker who won in two sets, with a 6-4 score in both. Lima's first spring appearance in the singles resulted in a victory, 6-2, 3-6, 7-6(2). Drechsler registered a 6-2, 7-6(6) win over DeBruyne. Matteo Videau was in the sixth slot for UIndy and finished 6-1, 6-3. Mueller won in a super tiebreaker over Daniil Taeantinov, 6-3, 6-7(4), 10-7.

The Hounds will travel to Butler on Thursday, Feb. 8 for their next match. Play will begin at 3 p.m.
