INDIANAPOLIS - The No. 11 UIndy men's tennis team took down the visiting McKendree Bearcats on Sunday afternoon at the UIndy Tennis Center, sweeping all six singles' matches after winning a pair of doubles' contests. Sunday marked the first conference match for the Greyhounds. The Hounds improve to 15-2 as a team.Â

Magnus Mueller and
Christoph Drechsler cruised by McKendree's Ognjen Jevtic and Alberto Montalbon, 8-1, to kick off the day before
Dario Huber and
Nils Hoffacker took down their respective No. 3 doubles opponents Nicholas De Guzman and Ratik Khanna, 8-2. No. 1 duo and 29th-rankedÂ
Renato Lima and
Andrea Morlet dropped their battle, 8-3, to the Bearcats' Maico Egbers and Ben Muller.Â
Matej Kostadinov was the first Greyhound to win his singles match, defeating Montalbon in straight sets without allowing a single game. Drechsler finished just after Kostadinov, winning 6-1 in consecutive sets.Â
No. 62 in the country Mueller also handled business at No. 3 singles, winning 6-1 in straight sets before Huber defeated Muller 6-1, 6-2. Ranked 41st in Division II, Hoffacker overcame losing the first set at No. 1 singles to win the tiebreaker in the third set, 10-5.Â
Matteo Videau was the final Hound to finish on the day, but the freshman defeated his counterpart Khanna 6-1, 6-3.Â
The Greyhounds travel to Louisville this coming Friday for a GLVC contest at Bellarmine. The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
