The #11 Greyhounds defeated #12 Drury University 8-1 to add another win to their record. The Hounds swept the singles play, and won two of three in doubles.
Magnus Mueller and Christoph Drechsler pulled through with an 8-2 win over Augustin Diot and Sacha Mourier. Nils Hoffacker and Matej Kostadinov took the match 8-3 match from the Drury's Leonardo Cerri and Paul Porcher.Â
Hoffacker, Drechsler and Kostadinov's matches were all pushed to three sets, but the Greyhounds earned victories in the end. Renato Lima claimed victory against Diot in 7-6(3), 6-3 showdown. Mueller took on the number four singles slot for the Greyhounds and beat Lukas Stierling (6-4, 7-5). Earning a 6-1, 6-3 win for UIndy was Matteo Videau against Cerri.Â
The Greyhounds will travel to Las Vegas for a four-game stretch, with the trip kicking off against #19 Hawaii Pacific on Monday, March 12, at 11:30 a.m.
