SOMERS, Wis. - The UIndy baseball team (25-18, 7-11 GLVC) had several "first time since" moments on Saturday afternoon in its game-one victory at Wisconsin-Parkside. The Greyhounds had 26 hits in the victory, their most since April 25, 2009.
Nick Miller led the team with a career-high five knocks, including two doubles and four RBI, while
Dylan Jones led the team with five driven in.Â

Tyler Phillips had four and
Hunter Waning had three, who also drove in three runs.
Storm Joop and Phillips scored four runs themselves, while Holdsworth, Jones, and Waning scored three each.Â
As a team, the Hounds hit eight two-baggers, the most in a game since March 12, 2011. Holdsworth, Miller, and Phillips each had two doubles, while Jones and Waning had one. Jones had the only triple of the game. UIndy also drew 11 walks, the most free passes the Hounds have taken since March 19, 2017. Five Greyhounds, including
Joe Kenney, walked twice.Â
Jake Sprinkle tossed five innings to earn the win, while
John Hendry struck out five in working the final four frame.Â

The bats froze in the nightcap, unable to have an answer for the Parkside starter as the Hounds mustered just four hits in the loss.Â
Southpaw
Tyler Hosto scattered four hits for one run over four innings, which proved to be enough damage for the Rangers. Holdsworth, Joop, and Miller followed up their game-one efforts with a hit, while
Trey Smith rounded out the offense for the Greyhounds with a single of his own.Â
Cole Humphrey worked the final 1.1 innings without allowing a run, as he is now up to 7.2 frames with an ERA of just 1.17.Â
