INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy volleyball team (8-3, 3-0 GLVC) swept Maryville (4-7, 0-3 GLVC) on Tuesday night from Ruth Lilly Fitness Center after hitting .394 as a team.

Taylor Jacquay led with 10 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UIndy scored eight of the first nine points of the night and never looked back.
Katie Furlong and
Lauren Koopman each recorded four kills in the opening set on a combined .537 hitting percentage.
Alyssa Spears also earned 11 of her 31 assists in the first frame.

Jacquay came alive in the second with seven kills, half of her 14 on the night. Her .500 attack percentage was just behind Furlong's six kills on .545 hitting. Spears scooped up five digs in the game, while four others tallied at least two.

Koopman was a model of consistency on Tuesday, rounding out the third set with three more kills on .750 hitting. Furlong and Jacquay also recorded four kills each, while
Olivia Martin totaled seven digs in her only set of the night.

Taylor Jacquay posted 14 kills and 10 digs in the sweep for the only double-double of the night for UIndy. It is the sophomore's fourth straight match with double-digit kills, while Tuesday marks the second time in the past three contests Jacquay has recorded a double-double.

Lauren Koopman put up a double-figure kill total in her career in the win, tallying 10 on .529 hitting. The senior also picked up a service ace and a block.

Katie Furlong joined Jacquay for the team lead with 14 kills, while the sophomore hit .462 on Tuesday. Her final kill was her 200th of the season.
