NORFOLK, Va. – Both UIndy swimming and diving teams picked up Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), announced Tuesday. They were two of 122 NCAA Division II teams to earn the award, given to teams that achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2018 fall semester.
 
The Greyhound women's team combined for a 3.55 grade point average in the fall, while the men earned a 3.34 GPA. The UIndy men ranked 13th among all DII men's teams, while the women were positioned in 18th among their peer group.
 
In the pool, both UIndy squads are ranked in the top five in the current TYR/CSCAA DII Top 25 Poll. The Greyhounds will be vying for conference crowns in two weeks, as the GLVC Championships are scheduled for Feb. 6-9 in nearby Crawfordsville, Ind.
