INDIANAPOLIS- Greyhound 165
Shelden Struble has been named the GLVC Wrestler of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday.
Struble put together a 4-0 week, mirroring the #12 UIndy squad's 4-0 dual record for the week. The senior, ranked #11 in the NWCA Coaches rankings at 165, notched a 2-1 win over defending National Champion and #5 Bret Romanzak of Ashland among the four victories on the week. He also added career pins #32 and 33 with falls against Findlay and Davenport, putting him tied for fourth place in UIndy program history.
The conference honor was the first of Struble's career, and the third for a Greyhound wrestler this year. UIndy heavyweight
Dylan Faulkenberg was the GLVC Wrestler of the Week Jan. 8 and
Angelo Robles was the league's honoree Nov. 13.
The #12 Greyhounds continue dual action Thursday, traveling to Wisconsin-Parkside for an 8 p.m. EST dual with the Rangers.
