Box Score LEBANON, Ill. – The UIndy men's basketball (14-5, 7-2 GLVC) team led from the beginning and never looked back on Thursday evening at McKendree University (8-11, 4-6 GLVC) en route to the 86-62 win.

Marcus Latham scored another 21 points in the win, and has reached at least 18 tallies each of the last four contests.

UIndy is now 11-0 all-time against McKendree.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Greyhounds came out firing on Thursday, shooting 58.8 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes, with
Trevor Lakes leading the way with 13 points. UIndy led by as many as 23 in the first half, and held the advantage over McKendree for a massive 19:27.

Marcus Latham and
Jimmy King also had 10 points at the break, with the Hounds forcing the issue on the glass with a 19-17 lead in the category.

Kempson grabbed his third rebound of the game in the second half to become the 16th Greyhound ever with at least 1,000 points and 500 boards. The senior finished with six points and ranks 33rd on the all-time scoring list.

Jacob Polakovich played 18 minutes on Thursday, securing his first-career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Bearcats hit a layup to get within 14 with under six minutes remaining, but the Hounds finished the game on a 14-4 run to finish off the hosts.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Jaylin Chinn also logged a season-high 15 minutes at McKendree, scoring two points and recording three rebounds. The freshman dished out a pair of assists, as well, in the win.

Latham continues to be a scoring force for the Hounds, finishing with a career-high 21 points. The junior has earned starts in each of the past four contests, and is now averaging 19.5 tallies per contest in the four-game winning streak.

Jimmy King scored at least 16 points for the first time since December 2 against Olivet Nazarene. The Indianapolis product handed out six assists against the Bearcats, along with grabbing a pair of boards.

The win gives coach
Stan Gouard career win No. 199, with the next victory making the 11th-year head man the second person in program history with at least 200. Angus Nicoson is the all-time leader in wins with 483.
