INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy men's basketball team was chosen to finish third in the 2019-20 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) preseason coaches' poll, the league announced on Tuesday. UIndy received two first-place votes, totaling 191 points in the poll.Â

The Greyhounds placed fourth in the conference each of the past two seasons.

Jimmy King returns for his final collegiate season, as fellow seniors
Marcus Latham,
Jordache Mavunga,
Demarre Sims, and
Miles Wayer will also be back for the Greyhounds. Purdue Fort Wayne transfer guard
Dee Montgomery will don the Crimson and Grey for his final year of eligibility.

An All-GLVC Second-Team member last season,
Trevor Lakes and his sharp-shooting skills are back for his junior campaign.

Bellarmine and Southern Indiana were picked atop the preseason poll, with UIndy in the three-hole. Drury and Lewis round out the top five. League newcomers Lindenwood and Southwest Baptist were chosen to finish 10th and 13th, respectively.

Head coach
Stan Gouard (12th season) and UIndy tip off its season Tuesday, October 29 with an exhibition contest at NCAA DI Loyola Chicago. The Ramblers advanced to the Final Four two seasons ago.
