Echeverria carded scores of 68-67 to finish the tournament at -9, sharing medalist honors with teammate
Cailyn Henderson and breaking the program record for lowest 36-hole tournament score by three strokes. The Guatemala native finished the Invite completely bogey free while leading the Greyhounds (291-275) to a 30-stroke team win. She also helped the Hounds break the school record for lowest 18-hole team score with a second-round tally of -13.
The announcement marks the second GLVC weekly honor for Echeverria on the season and 15th for her career, upping her own league record. The reigning
Division II Player of the Year is averaging a stellar 71.1 strokes per round this fall.
