NORFOLK, Va. – After a hot start for the Greyhounds in the several weeks of the season, the UIndy swimming & diving teams both secured top three rankings in the CSCAA for Division II. The women moved up to the No. 3 spot with 137 points, while the men stay afloat at the No. 2 spot with 118 total points. The women moved up four spots from the preseason rankings put out back in October.
TYR and the College Swimming Coaches Association of America ranked both teams as the best among GLVC institutions. Other GLVC institutions on the polls include McKendree (third), Drury (fifth), Lindenwood (ninth), Missouri S&T (12th), Missouri-Saint Louis (22nd) and Lewis (25th) for the men, and the women featured Drury (fourth), Lindenwood (10th), Truman State (18th) and McKendree (21st).
The next time the Greyhounds will be in action is at the annual House of Champions Invitational, taking place from Friday, Nov 22 to Sunday, Nov 24. Morning sessions on all three days will commence at 10 a.m.
