WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.- UIndy wrestling opened its dual schedule Sunday at the Purdue Duals, dropping three decisions to Division I opponents.

The Greyhounds took on the host Boilermakers in the first match of the day, falling to host Purdue 45-0. In the second match of the day, Northern Illinois topped UIndy 36-9, with the Greyhounds falling 34-10 in the third match of the day to Clarion.

Jack Eiteljorge was the highlight of the Greyhound lineup, taking a pair of wins on the day. The redshirt freshman was the lone winner versus Northern Illinois, with a 6-5 win over Zack Velasquez. The Greyhound 165 then picked up his second win versus Clarion, by way of an 8-6 decision over Mike Vernagallo.

Gleason Mappes provided another UIndy win versus Clarion, coming away with a 17-7 major decision over Christian Sequete at 174. Redshirt senior Brody Conner provided three more points versus the Golden Eagles with a 7-0 decision over Luke Funck.  

Next up for the Greyhounds is another dual, as UIndy will head to Urbana for a regional tilt with the Blue Knights Dec. 4.
