INDIANAPOLIS- With the NCAA Super Regional 3 tournament this Saturday, and the 2019 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships March 8-9, the Greyhounds have moved up to #13 in the NWCA Division II Coaches Rankings, released Monday.
UIndy amassed 27 total points behind six ranked individuals. St. Cloud State still sits atop the team poll, with 87 total points. Wheeling Jesuit (68), Nebraska-Kearney (67), McKendree (59) and Notre Dame (OH) (54) rounded out the top five.Â
Dylan Faulkenberg is again the #3 heavyweight in the nation, with
Shelden Struble coming in at #6 at 165.
Angelo Robles is the #11 141 pounder in Division II, while
Kyle Barkovich (149),
Heath Lange (157) and
Brody Conner (184) all come in at #12 in their respective weight classes.
This year's regional tournament is at West Liberty in West Liberty, WV. Wrestling will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, with the top three finishers in each weight class advancing to the 2019 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.Â
