INDIANAPOLIS - For the second straight week, a UIndy Greyhound was named the Men's Basketball Player of hte Week by the GLVC. For the first time in his career,
Jimmy King earned the weekly honor for his efforts in back-to-back Greyhound wins last week over McKendree and Illinois Springfield on the road.

Against McKendree, the redshirt-junior went for 16 points on 7-for-11 shooting while also dishing out six assists in the team's 86-62 win. Two days laster, King went for a season-high 25 points against UIS while filling up the stat sheet. The Roncalli grad logged 36 minutes, finishing with 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting, pulled down eight rebounds and dished out seven helpers on the afternoon.

CJ Hardaway are the first UIndy teammates to win back-to-back player of the week honors since
Joe Lawson and
Lucas Barker won consecutive honors in January 2015.
