Taylor Podschweit had three hits and two RBIs on the day.

The Greyhounds out-hit the host Saints 7-4 but could not overcome a two-run home run by MU freshman Olivia Jarvis. Sophomore starter
Halie Waters (9-3) took the loss, as she struck out eight and walked three in the complete-game effort.

The UIndy runs came in the second and fifth frames on an RBI double by Podschweit and an infield single by
Hanna Burris, respectively.

The Hounds bounced back with a three-run first inning in the capper. Sophomore
Brooke Montgomery provided the big hit, smacking a single to centerfield to score
Taylor Danielson and
Haylie Foster.

Burris and Podschweit each had two hits, while Montgomery added a pair of walks.

Junior hurler
Lauren Honkomp went the distance to up her record to 7-2 on the year. She surrendered five hits and one walk, while only two of the Saints' three runs were earned.

UIndy remains in the St. Louis area to face Missouri-St. Louis Sunday. The twin bill, which starts at 1 p.m. ET, has been moved to Lebanon, Ill., and the campus of McKendree University.
