SPRINGFIELD, Ill.- The #4 Greyhounds took a 7-0 sweep of #45 Illinois Springfield (11-3) Saturday, improving their spotless record to 16-0 on the season. UIndy improves to 3-0 in GLVC play with the win.

The #3 duo of Nikol Alexeeva and Anya Novikova took the first win of the day, 6-1, at one doubles.  Hanna Volikova and Alina Kislitskaya took the doubles point for the Greyhounds with a 6-2 win at two doubles, while Maja Pindelska and Anna Valiaeva closed out the doubles sweep with a 6-3 win at three doubles.

#12 Volikova opened singles play with a 6-0, 6-3 win at one singles, while #17 Nikol Alexeeva won 6-1, 6-2 at two singles. Pindelska took the clinching singles win in the four spot with a 6-1, 6-1 win.

Kislitskaya also won 6-1, 6-1, at five singles, with Novikova taking the third 6-1, 6-1 win by the Greyhounds at three singles. Valiaeva closed out the sweep with a 6-4, 6-1 win in the six singles spot.

UIndy continues GLVC play Saturday at Lewis, with the Greyhounds facing off with the Flyers at 12 p.m. EST.
