ROMEOVILLE, Ill.- The #4 UIndy women's tennis team continued its perfect run through the 2019 season and the Great Lakes Valley Conference season with a 7-0 win over Lewis Saturday.
Maja Pindelska and
Anna Valiaeva were the first 6-0 win at three doubles, with
Hanna Volikova and
Alina Kislitskaya also blanking their Flyer opponents 6-0 at two doubles. #3
Nikol Alexeeva and
Anya Novikova completed the doubles sweep with a 6-3 win in the one doubles spot.
#17 Alexeeva finished her singles match first, going 6-0, 6-0 at two singles. Novikova brought in the next Greyhound point with a 6-2, 6-2 win in the three spot. #12 Volikova clinched the match for UIndy with a 6-4, 6-4 win in the one singles spot.
Kislitskaya played in the four singles spot, taking a 6-3, 6-3 win. Valiaeva won 6-3, 6-1 at five singles, with
Chloe Weihs closing out the match with a 7-5, 6-0 win at six singles.
The Greyhounds will close out their regular season next Saturday at Southern Indiana, before they will play host to the 2019 GLVC Tennis Championships at Center Grove High School April 19-21.
