WACO, Texas – For the second straight week, the UIndy football team moved up in the AFCA Division II Poll, released Monday. The Greyhounds inched up one spot to No. 14 this week after earning a decisive
48-21 win against Hillsdale in last weekend's home opener.
Â
The Hounds' ranking marks their 28th straight appearance in the coaches' top 25, upping their own program record for consecutive time spent in the national rankings. Though it is lone GLVC team in the poll, UIndy is one of eight Super Region Three schools in the top 25. Ferris State tops all SR3 squads at No. 2, followed by top-10 schools Ouachita Baptist (6), Northwest Missouri State (7) and Grand Valley State (10).
Â
The Greyhounds return to the road this weekend, opening conference play at McKendree University. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 21.
