KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the eighth straight week, the UIndy men's basketball team finds itself in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) top 25.
Â
The Greyhounds slipped seven spots to No. 23 in the latest set of rankings after splitting last weekend's Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) matchups. UIndy downed then-No. 20 Southern Indiana for the team's first win over the Screaming Eagles in three seasons on Thursday, before dropping a nail-biter at McKendree two days later. The Bearcats' defeat of the Greyhounds marked the third time this season they have knocked off a ranked opponent.
Â
UIndy is now 10-3 on the season, and will square off against Lindenwood and No. 18 Missouri-St. Louis this coming weekend. The Greyhounds and Lions will meet for the first time ever at Nicoson Hall on Thursday.
Â
Junior
Trevor Lakes leads the team with 15.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, while senior
Jimmy King has totaled 82 assists through 12 contests.
