NORFOLK, Va. – Before the final turn into the championship season, the UIndy swimming & diving teams both repeated top three rankings for the second time this season. The CSCAA gave plenty of praise to the Greyhounds, ranking the men first in all of Division II with 150 points and the women third with 136 points. The women remained third since the last rankings were released in November, while the men jumped up one for the top spot.
TYR and the College Swimming Coaches Association of America also ranked both teams as the two best institutions within the GLVC. Other
GLVC institutions on the polls include
Drury (second), McKendree (eighth), Missouri S&T (15th), Lindenwood (17th), Missouri-Saint Louis (
20th) and Lewis (
25th) for the men, and the women featured Drury (fourth),
Lindenwood (
7th), Truman State (
20th) and
McKendree (
21st).
The Greyhounds will next appear in Ohio for the final dual meet of the season, taking place on Jan. 24. The meet will be against Denison, and will commence at 5 p.m.
