ST. CHARLES, Mo.- UIndy wrestling opened the Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule at #16 Lindenwood Sunday, falling to the Lions 35-6.

The Greyhounds (5-5) opened the dual with a win, with Nick Brady (6-6) taking a 5-2 win over LU's Nick Lindley. At 133, Chase Wilkerson lost a close 3-2 decision  to #12 Tanner Hitchcock in OT to know the score at 3-3. After Lindenwood took a bonus point win at 141 and a decision at 149 on a last-second takedown, Dawson Combest (13-3) recorded the second Greyhound victory of the day with a 6-4 win in SV-1 over Nate Trepanier.  

It was all Lindenwood in the second half of the dual, with the host Lions running the final score to 35-6 with wins in the final five bouts of the day.

Next up for UIndy is a home dual with UW-Parkside Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in  the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center. The Greyhounds jump back into GLVC action next Friday, with the Knights of Bellarmine coming to UIndy.
