INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy baseball team is coming off a winning season under first-year head coach Al Ready where the Hounds won 30 games under their new skipper. The Greyhounds will travel down to Johnson City, Tenn., to face Hillsdale for the first time since the 2016 NCAA Regional.

Coach Ready returns a pair of assistants in
Landon Hutchison and
Trevor Forde while bringing in two seniors from last year's squad as graduate assistants in
Blake Richardson and
Jake Sprinkle. Senior
Hunter Waning returns after playing all but one game a season ago and only committing six errors. Leading the pitching staff will be senior
Reid Werner who was an All-GLVC selection as a junior, holding opponents to a .268 average and recording 78 strikeouts.

The Hounds will return home for their first home game next weekend for a three-game series against Notre Dame College.
