JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The UIndy baseball team went up against Hillsdale Sunday afternoon in the rubber match of their three game set against the Chargers. After plating 13 runs in the second game of yesterday's doubleheader, the Greyhounds offense scored 11 more today in an 11-3 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UIndy scored two runs in both the first and second innings with four different players recording an RBI.
Will Smithey and
Trey Smith both racked up another RBI in the sixth inning while
John Carpinelli also came across home as the Hounds had an 8-1 lead with just a few innings to go. After Hillsdale scored a pair of runs, UIndy added three more insurance runs late as they went on to win 11-3.

Myc Whitty took the mound for the Greyhounds today. After missing last season due to injury, Whitty tossed five innings only giving up one run and one walk while striking out five Hillsdale batters. Four relievers came on late for UIndy with junior
Chaney Morgan finishing the game off in the ninth, not giving up a hit in his inning of work.
