INDIANAPOLIS- UIndy wrestling posted a 2-1 day at its own Greyhound Duals in the ARC Saturday, taking regional wins against Davenport and #8 Tiffin.

UINDY 47 - DAVENPORT 0
The Greyhounds (9-7) opened the day with a convincing win against Davenport. No. 9 Ana Abuduljelil punctuated his senior day with his first pin of the season, in 4:46 over Daniel Poupore at 125, and UIndy rolled from there.

In total, UIndy put up bonus point wins in seven of the 10 matches in the dual. In addition to Abduljelil, Clay Jones and Zach Fry both also pinned at 165 and 197, respectively, while the Hounds got tech falls from Matt McKinney at 141 and #11 Dawson Combest at 157. Gleason Mappes contributed a 9-1 major decision at 174, with Brody Conner accepting a forfeit from the Panthers at 184.

Chase Wilkerson (133), Kyle Barkovich (149), and Jeremy Splix (285) all also took wins in the dual for the Greyhounds, with Splix earning his first career win in a UIndy singlet, a 3-2 decision over River Fox to close out the 47-0 team victory.

MARYVILLE 19 - UINDY 15
The Greyhounds took wins in five of the 10 bouts, but the Saints put up bonus points in two of their wins to take the 19-15 GLVC win.

UIndy's first win of the matchup came at 133 from Wilkerson, a 9-7 defeat of Maryville's Anthony Pisciotta. Barkovich picked up a 7-1 win over Tyler Stegall in SV-1 at 149, and Combest followed with a 2-1 win over Tanner Sparks at 157, tying the team score at 9-9 halfway through the dual.

After Maryville took a win and a major decision at 165 and 174, Conner and Fry both took wins, but a Saints win at 285 sealed the dual for the visitors, 19-15.

UINDY 21 - #8 TIFFIN 16
The Greyhounds got off to a quick start versus the regional-foe Dragons, taking wins in the first three matches of the dual. Nick Brady struck first, notching a 10-7 decision over Ray Adams at 125. Wilkerson took his third win of the day in exciting fashion, pinning Rico Puente in 3:00 to put the Hounds up 9-0. 

McKinney was able to avenge a loss from earlier in the season at 141, besting Dylan Mansor, 4-0. After a disqualification at 149 and a Tiffin win at 157, the Hounds held a 12-9 lead.

Jack Eiteljorge picked up a 10-4 win over #11 Bryan LaVearn at 165 to push the lead to 15-9, but Tiffin took a win by major at 174 to come within two points of the Hounds. Conner and Fry both picked up wins by decision to ice the dual for UIndy.

The Greyhounds return to the ARC Sunday morning to host the Greyhound Open. UIndy is back in dual action next Sunday at Maryville to close out the GLVC season at the GLVC duals. The Hounds will wrestle #2 McKendree and Ouachita Baptist as a part of the event.
