possibly the final UIndy athletics competition of the academic year, the second-ranked Greyhound women's golf team (300-281) put on an impressive performance at the Augustana Spring Fling, hosted at Desert Willow Golf Club in Palm Desert, Calif., Thursday and Friday. The highlight came on Friday as sophomore
Elyse Stasil matched a program record with a final-round 65, sharing medalist honors with teammate
Pilar Echeverria.

Stasil had her best tournament as a Hound, finishing at -2 over 36 holes as both she and Echeverria (69-73) topped the 27-woman field. It marked the first career individual win for Stasil, while Echeverria upped her own school record with her 12th individual medal.
Cailyn Henderson (3rd, +3) and
Anna Kramer (4th, +6) joined them on the all-tournament team, helping the Hounds finish Friday's round at -7 as a team and beating second-place Augustana by 38 strokes.

Freshman
Catharina Graf (23rd, +29) rounded out the team scoring, while individuals
Hunter Nugent (T6th, +8) and
Katelyn Skinner (T9th, +13) both settled in the top 10.

Nine teams originally committed the play in the event, but three decommitted prior to the start and two more withdrew on Thursday due to coronavirus concerns.
