KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UIndy senior
Jimmy King capped his outstanding career with another honor from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Friday, earning DII All-Star status. King is just one of 16 players across the country to earn a spot on the two-team list.
Â
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual All-Star game was cancelled.
Â
King finished his career with 1,227 points and 542 assists, the latter just five shy of the program record held by Ron Rutland. Along with a unanimous All-GLVC First Team nod, King was named an All-Region First Team member from the NABC and D2CCA.
Â
The Indianapolis product is the first all-region selection since
Jordan Loyd in 2016, and wraps up his career as a three-time All-GLVC player.
