NORFOLK, Va. – After the Greyhounds captured a third-straight GLVC men's swimming & diving title and the women ended as a close runner-up, the CSCAA maintained UIndy's team rankings at fourth overall with the release of their final rankings on Tuesday. The teams will look to jump ahead at the NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships.
TYR and the College Swimming Coaches Association of America have pushed the GLVC up in the rankings, arguably now to one of the strongest conferences in Division II. OtherÂ
GLVCÂ institutions on the polls include McKendree (first), Drury (second),Â
Lindenwood (T-12th), Missouri S&T (
T-12th), and Missouri-Saint Louis (
19th) for the men, and the women featured Drury (third),Â
Lindenwood (
7th), and Truman State (
19th).
The Greyhounds will make their final preparations this week for the upcoming NCAA championships, commencing next week. Diving starts the big dance on Tuesday, March 10 with their Prequalification segment of the meet, and the NCAA championships will kick off on March 11 at 10 a.m., lasting until the end of March 14.
