GENEVA, Ohio – The 2020 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships kick off this week east of Indianapolis at the SPIRE Institute Aquatics Center. Co-hosted by Lake Erie College and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, the event will go on from March 10-14.
Diving will look to get the Greyhounds off to a hot start with the pre-qualification portion of the meet, competing for a spot in finals.
Cassie Kury and
Mikaela Starr will lead off for the women, while the men have taken five different divers on the UIndy scoring roster. The squad consists of All-American veterans in
Payton Staman,
Josh Zylstra, and
Benjamin Rader, while also bringing two new faces in
Cade Hammond and
Jason Lenzo. Diving will start at 7 a.m.
The Championships will commence the swimming events on Wednesday with prelims starting at 10 a.m., followed by the evening finals at 6 p.m. The schedule remains the same for the next three days, concluding Saturday night when the team awards are presented.
